Pawel Tacikowski is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie visiting postdoctoral fellow from Karolinska Institute. His project focuses on the neural basis of self-concept and self-awareness, addressing fundamental questions about the human mind. His work is furthermore relevant to disorders in which the self is impaired, for example, in depression or schizophrenia.
