Davide Ciliberti, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the UCLA Neurosurgery Department. He has a Master in Biomedical Engineering (Polytechnic of Milan, Italy) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (KU Leuven, Belgium). In his doctoral studies, he developed a brain-computer interface for studying memory-related activity in the rat brain. He’s currently interested in understanding the role of neuronal populations in the formation, consolidation and retrieval of human memory using neurofeedback, real-time decoding and closed-loop electrical stimulation.
